The sooner you submit your application to the posted jobs, the better chance you will have of being interviewed.  Job opportunities begin to be posted at the beginning of January.  Other jobs are posted later, some as late as March, though many of the best jobs are filled long before March.  All students remain through August 8 for work and events happening until then.  Some students may stay longer; the Democratic National Convention is from August 25-28 and is seeking volunteers. 

January–March: Employers post Job Descriptions and students apply.
March: Employers extend offers; students commit to participate in the program.
May 31st–June 1st: Middlebury, MIT, and Yale students arrive.
Monday, June 2nd: Middlebury, MIT, and Yale students begin their internships for 10 weeks.
June 14th–15th: Standford students arrive.
Monday, June 16th Stanford students begin their internships for 8 weeks.
Friday, August 8th: Last day of employment for all students.
